At The Tutoring Spot we offer services to fit a variety of needs.


  • One on One tutoring:personalized one on one tutoring with a trained tutor who will work with you/your child to help them through all of their academic struggles, no matter the subject.

  • Subjects offered: Math, English, Social Studies, American History, US History, Science, Chemistry, Spanish, ESL, Special Education, Drama and more...

  • Academic Coaching: personal coaching that will help you find and maintain your motivation and accountability during the tough times in school

    •  

  • Learning Clubs: age level learning groups that are limited to a certain number of students and will take part in advanced collaborative learning activities with the main goal of having fun and learning at the same time.

    •  

  • Study Skills Sessions: small group sessions designed to help teach the practical study skills needed to succeed in today's educational environment

    •  

  • Test Taking Sessions: group sessions designed to give student the strong test taking skills needed to excel at tests and improve grades (standard and placement strategy sessions available)

    •  

  • Playshops: informational sessions that will help parents to better understand their child's learning mechanisms and the strategies to reduce homework hassles at night
  • Additional subject area sessions: essay writing, geometry skills refinement, AP study sessions, Math Rocks (inspired by Math Doesn't Suck) and many others are being added regularly
